Samson Facts
1. Samson led the Israelites for 20 years in the days of the Philistines.
2. His source of power was from his hair. If his head was shaved he would become as weak as any man.
3. His mother was barren and an angel appeared to her and told her she would have a son.
4. Samson was a Nazarite, which meant he had to;
5. Manoah was the father of Samson and his mother was never named in the Bible
6. Samson killed a lion by ripping it apart with his bare hands.
7. After Delilah cut Samson’s hair he was blinded by the Philistines.
8. Samson’s main purpose in life was to hurt the Philistines in various ways, and deliver Israel from them.
9. Samson destroyed an entire temple of the Philistine god Dagon, this is also how Samson died.
10. When Samson was being tied up willingly by the men from Judah, he broke free and killed 1,000 Philistines with
a jawbone of a donkey.

- Not to become ritually impure by contact with corpses or graves, even those of family members.
